putting stuff away to well

i put stuff away to find it 1 yr later ...lol i bought bangkok some lotus seeds...pink plena....i just refound them....i have 10..they came with a phytosanitary certificate from dept. of agriculture (??????)  and instructions on how to plant....i looked them up and they are quite beautiful...it says to talk to them that the carbon dioxide in your breath aides in their metabolism....it says i can start them now but keep them warm and kozy...to start them in a 2 litre coke bottle....any suggestions or opinions????

All plants react to carbon dioxide the same. What I'm wondering is why use a two liter bottle? I've always started mine in little plastic cups then moved them up to bigger cups and then plant them in containers to put in the pond.
