Toledo's painted frogs
« on: September 29, 2009, 08:43:54 PM »
There are painted ponies, painted buffalo and painted frogs..does your city have painted critters?

We have painted buffalo in OKC, Shawnee Oklahoma has painted ponies.
I love seeing them, they are very unique.

I look at one every day while I'm at work.  Are you a Toledoan, or just interested in the frogs?

No, Calif here.  The only frog that stayed here seems to be noctural.
I do see him out there but I can't get close.
Id love them sitting on pads in the sun :'(

They have painted cows in La Jolla. It was a charity event.  Can't remember the details.

They had painted colts a couple years ago in nearby Terre Haute, Indiana.  This was because Terre Haute is the home of the Indianapolis Colts football team summer training camp.

A few years ago we were in Winnipeg and they had painted polar bears.  They were really "cool".  :teehee:  I went nuts taking pictures.  We could see a lot of them from our hotel window.  It was to raise money for cancer research.

Loved the frogs.

Those frogs are cool.

We have the Cow Parade here in Houston.  It was HUGE, and very clever entries.  But I was unable to find any pics, except for this one:

Very nice froggies!  I love Toledo--when my youngest daughter went to the University there, I tried to find any excuse I could to visit her!  I love that college campus!  O0
