Charlie's Pride blooming today

Thank you Sean for sharing some tuber action with me this summer. This has been a prolific bloomer for me - and really enjoy the raspberry colour. And then there is the matching plumeria.

Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

Both wonderful pics.  The Plumeria is one of my favs.  It is possible to grow that here in AZ, but I've never seen it in bloom here.  A buddy of mine grew his from a neighbors cutting.  I'm going to try the same.

A wise neighbour ( who had once lived in Honolulu ) once told me that you have to fool them into thinking they were still in Hawaii - a little bit of water, very often.

You and I don't have the humidity they are used to, so I water twice daily during the summer - but just a splash each time.

Cheers,

Mike

Charlie's pride is beautiful. I like the brightly coloured lilies. The Plumeria is pretty too.

Beautiful coloron both of those!  Is the Plumeria grown similar to a Bird of Paradise?  I may have to try one of those!
