azolla hardiness

I'm in Okla. (zone 7, I believe) & I was wondering if azolla will come back here or if it dies away.
I also have some duckweed & how does that do here as well.
Thanks.

Azolla survives here in zone 5. Fish ate all my duckweed, so can't help there.

Azolla is not winter hardy here but any duckweed that escapes the predations of the fish comes through just fine.

I'm in zone 6 and its basically a 50/50 shot whether it survives. Sometimes it does and other winters it doesn't.
