My apologies, Sean. About Victoria cruziana.
« on: October 08, 2009, 07:51:27 PM »
I hope you didn't think that I was getting irate with you over questions about Victoria cruziana and pollinating the blooms. I just wanted to experience the beginning and end of the Victoria and learn from it, the way I do with all my plants. Victoria did have a pod to open today but I think the seeds are premature. They were a very light green and not brown like the seed from other lilies that I've collected. I guess producing seed drew to much energy from the plant as now it is declining.

Some day, I to want to be a hybridizer. :)
Happy ponding,

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.
