Here is my pond. I started working on it over the summer. I am still working on the surrounding area outside the pond. It is approx. 500 gallons.

Good job!  Lots of work!  Love your trellis.  I'm trying to plan and build one and what you have will fit in very nicely.  Thanks!

Thanks, I need to post some more pictures as it has matured over the summer. There are 2 lillies in it and they cover most of the surface which is nice in the summer heat. Once the pond was up and running, not alot of work. I clean the skimmer, trim the plants and check chemicals once a week. It is clear as can be.
The arbor vines are climbing up well and just started to bloom.

Here are some updated pictures from the weekend. I laid sod around the pond area.
It is amazing how much things have grown since I planted this summer.

DFR,

Awsome pond. You put a lot of thought into this. I really like the river rock look, river rock looks so much more natural than flagstone around the pond.

Something I did to hide the dirt and add to the landscape around my pond was to plant wooley thyme and irish moss. The wooley thyme is much more hardy than irish moss is in both the summer and the winter. If I had to do it all over again, I would have only planted wooley thyme.

Happy ponding, O0
