How to show your location and zone in your posts.
« on: November 14, 2006, 08:19:22 AM »
Several people have commented that they do not know how to show where they live without someone having to go to their profile. I had the same problem initially. I had put my location in my profile but it did not show up. The trick is as follows...

Open your profile.
Choose Forum Profile Information
List your location, zone etc in the Personal text box. It is below the area for your personal pic and above where your Birthday and location are listed.

The cool thing about it is that if you change it or adjust something in your profile it retroactively updates all of your current and past posts.

I had to go look at Sean and some other poster's profiles to figure out how they got it there. Seems helpful in giving plant advice so hopefully many will benefit from this easy how to.
