Expecting a possible frost tonight, so thought I'd get some late afternoon pics.

Thanks! A lot of the blooms had already closed up for the day. I'm surprised to still see so many considering we had a colder than usual October. The temps this November were a bit higher (70s) than average but now the days are dipping into the low 60s. Those are some of my baby wakins/watonai from this season's spawning. That particular pond I'm having a lot of trouble with the algae but it does keep the water clear considering the water isn't filtered.

I can see the puffs of algae in the pots, I sometimes get that as well. But, like you, my water is very clear so I don't really complain. If I pull on it, the Mollies seem to notice it and then will eat it. Silly fish, it was there all along.

We must be in the same zone. We are averaging in the 70's as well. The nights drop to the mid 50's-40's. The taros I purchased last month are doing well and thriving. I think I'm all bloomed out.
