Sloane here, producer of Jordan Bahat's project Jealous Of The Birds. Firstly, I just wanted to sincerely thank you for taking the time to come meet with us at USC on Saturday -- we so enjoyed meeting and reading with you!


I just wanted to shoot you a quick email to let you know that, unfortunately, the director has decided to go in a different direction. As these characters are based on real people in his life, he had very specific preconceptions of them and what he wanted, down to every minute detail. However, he and I both specifically wanted to email you to let you know how impressed we were with your audition, and to thank you for offering to bring your considerable talent to the table. We will definitely keep you in mind for all future projects.

Jerry I wonder if that is sent to everyone they reject. But it sure doesn't make you feel that way. It sounds like they really remember you and were impressed. I'm sure it was that one.

In 30 months I have only gotten two thank yous..  I think this one is very classy.
Of course "Acing" the audition is better.
I assume this one is sincere, we had a great time together.  I enjoyed them too.
It can be a real hassel going to one.  usc is a vast place.  parking is far away.  I do use a folding bike.
The LA Times just did an article about USC being the number one spot for bike thefts!
Good cable locks are a must.
