I used an igloo and an aerator, All arrived home in good shape!
So far they are hanging out on the bottom where they are barely visible. Their backs and the pond bottom are close to the same color. Only one came up to investigate food.
I read the eat Zoo Plankton.
Advice gladly accepted.

Jerry, they should eat flake food, either Pond Flakes or Goldfish Flakes (Wardley). If you just put them in the pond today, it will take 2-3 days for them to adjust. Then they will eat.

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.

Glad I could help. Before ponding, I use to keep all kinds of wild aquatics in aquariums, including a female crayfish with eggs. I did actually raise two of the babies to full size crayfish.
