Pond Vac III
« on: March 16, 2010, 12:27:45 PM »
I did it!  After reading everyone's posts and long research, I purchased a Oase Pond Vac 3.  Great deal from Webb's.  I mentioned American Ponders and they were glad it was one of us.

My pond is due for a vacuum.  The water is clear, but the muck and string algae are quite visible.  Over the winter, I purchased a 55 watt uv clarifier and a huge skimmer from a guy breaking down his pond.  Great deal on both clarifier and skimmer (60 bucks all together).  Every year around this time I feel the pond bug nibbling.   o(:-)

You will love that machine. It makes things so much easier. I don't know why it took me so long to get one. It is so worth the money.

Me too...I'm so glad I finally got one.  And their price is so much lower than everyone else!

This weekend looks like a perfect day for me to get in there and do some more vacuuming....although I found a little teeny tiny baby so I may have to net him first.....no sucking up fishes!!  {nono}

My koi are fairly large and quick.  I should receive it by Monday.  Hopefully everything arrives in perfect condition.  I know Webb's is pretty good about shipping.  The price wasn't bad at all.  $269.
