I was inspired by Renee48192's thread, and thought this might be a fun little game to play and see what everyone else writes since i was doing this just a week ago

You know your a ponder when...

you stand outside with a jacket on twirling a stick in the water to catch the string algea 'cause the ice just thawed.

You run outside several times a day, just to see what the fish are doing.

And then find an excuse to sit and watch and... next thing you know, an hour has slipped by!

Not only are u out there several times a day u end up waking up magically at crack of dawn when it's not possible any other time of the year just to see if the new bud bloomed or see if nightbloomer is still open

Hmmmm, you run outside banging pots and pans together, screaming at the top of your lungs...all to chase off a heron (and none of your neighbors talk to you anymore because they think you should be commited!)

You find the site "American Ponders" because you have green water then you never leave because of all the great stories, ponds, people, deals, and interactive posts such as this.

The last 3 days have been in the 60's and i've been busy by the pond... but today it's snowing

I actually went out today in shorts and flip flops raking and burning leaves and cleaning up around the yard. You can keep that stuff till next year if you want to.

everytime you go to home depot or lowes, the first place you go and search is the pond department, and if you see they are having a great deal you have to tell all of your friends from AP.com asap...

....................., you have officially slipped and fell in your pond. I didn't go all the way in, but I slipped and went in head first reaching out over the pond. I'm glad no one had a video camera on me at that moment.

I have to admit, I got real good look at one of my shubunkin's close up. It think was looking at me with a look of panic.

you are in the pond with your waders on cutting backthe last of the plants in 45* water and fall and the water goes in your wadders, or you are trying to catch a fish and it jumps out of the net several times and one time right into your wadders

you get down on your hands and knees daily checking the fish for signs of disease, and they all come swimming over to greet and splash you cause they think you are going to feed them again
