We have had to slice large chunks off the giant gunnera ... it was getting too large for its alloted space
And nobody wants any roots
Hopefully we have helped to keep it in trim for this coming year

Those roots are enormous! I have admired your massive Gunnera from afar, can't believe that no one wants to give it a try.

WOW , those are some large roots ! I raised one from seed a few years ago & the plant got
taller than my white building..about 12'....I liked to never got it cut back for the winter .

I'd like to try one but it can get pretty hot & dry here & I've read it needs lots of water.
Maybe I'll try to find some seeds.

Wow, I'm so jealous. I tried for years to grow them and they always died. I can't believe nobody wants your roots? That's crazy!
