www.tricker.com

I have ordered from them in the past. and the plants were in great shape. Much of it has to do with the time of year you order.

I ordered from Tricker's in the past & they did not send true to type tropical lilies.

There are many forum members that will sell or trade their extras for decent prices.

Kat

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)

Absolutely True!  O0  I have purchased or traded or paid postage only for most of my water plants.  Any others I purchased locally at nurseries.  But most of the AP members are very good to work with.

topped off with water today julles!  Waterfall running, not much as far as "landscaping" goes but we are off to a good start.  I'm a few weeks away from adding anything alive, just trying to get some ideas going.

Hopefully by this weekend I have my DIY filter setup, that pump should be here by the end of the week I hope!

I have a ton of stuff going on for the rest of the week, I will do my best to snap a photo or two asap.

would love to see pictures!

I've bought almost all of my plants from the forum. I did get my dwarf papyrus from someone in my neighborhood that has a pond, but that's it. Everything else is from this forum.

In response to a few posts above, I received my first catalogue from Tricker today and I could barely look at it.  The pictures are all so colorized it hurt my eyes to try and find the water lilies I might be interested in.  I find this often with some other plant catalogues as well - do they really think we are so stupid as to believe some of the colors that they are printing?

I purchase plants from members here on the forum.  I'm sure there are others, but the following are great folks to work with and sent me true name plants: Tranquility, Kat, and Matherfish

Check with those members for what your looking for.

I'll be starting my marginal package(taro, hardy, and tropical marginals) deals soon...we are just a few weeks behind this year---we had a really rough winter and the plants were slow waking up....I'll post them in the exchange forum when I do....LOL----I've even been known to trade plants for lemons  lol

I say shady area's go with foliage....like varigated-odd and unusual leaves and bold leaves...there are lots of different ones that do well in shaded areas--not sure why but, I have noticed in the years that alot of folks build the pond under trees....

I buy many plants from members of this forum. I would not pay retail for a waterlily ever again.

I do have Hughes Water Gardens locally and do buy plants there. Jerry has been there with me and can tell ya that it is a great place. :)

They do ship:
