New Inhabitant

I pulled up my small aquarium line that I leave on the bottom with a weight to add extra air and give the surface some movement when nothing else is on. At first I thought the airline was breaking down but on closer inspection it looks like clears worms? They are about an inch to two long. Almost like you squeezed toothpast on the line but perfectly clear. Are these eggs? or some new creaturs that has found its way into my pond. All I have for fish that I know of are goldies and some frogs that come and go. I can post a picture if need be just not sure how well you will see them

Sounds like snail eggs. At least that's what mine look like on the undersides of the lily pads in my pond.

Well I do have a few snails so that makes perfect sense. Since I was going to be putting in some crayfish and they eat snails this could work out great!
Thanks,
and have a ponderful day

I was going to say snail eggs, too.
Also, frog eggs are laid in a mass of clear jelly-like substance. With them, you can usually see the tiny dots of the embryos, and they get bigger each day. Toads lay similar eggs, but in long strands.

You're welcome Whiskyb! The first time I saw those slimy things on my lily pads, I freaked out and thought it was some strange plant disease. Of course it wasn't, but I sure have the mother-lode of snails!
