Yes, I believe I sent Stipa (Nassella) tenuissima also known as Mexican feather grass. I can't see the picture but I'm pretty sure what is what I sent. Glad you like it. I'm fond of it too.

Exactly.  I even had a volunteer.  It seems drought tolerant too.  I will but more or try divisions

I got mine from leanne to.. its not suppose to be hardy to my zone but its back for the 3rd year.  Has not set seed yet but they say when it does in my zone it dies so I hope it dont.  I love it!

I only get about a dozen seedlings a year. Not a big problem.

I've had it for about six years...it is a beautiful grass and very drought tolerant but it is a prolific, wind-blown re-seeder...don't be surprised if it starts popping up 150 feet or more away from your original planting ...the good news is that it'll pop up in otherwise barren spots; and, if it pops up in an undesirable spot, it's easy to remove.

That's a very beautiful flowing grass. Grass clumps are what is missing in my gardens, but at the store I stop before buying, cause they cost so much. Actually a friend did give me some clumps, and some are doing good and some are there but not taking off yet. A verigated clump. And they are staying put in their spot.
Somday I'll get some.

I have not seen any seedlings in any of the neighbor's yards. Believe me I'd notice as none of my neighbors are gardeners. An ornamental grass in their yards would stick out like a sore thumb. 

I do use my smallest rake to remove seed heads and dried stems several times a year, which takes only a few minutes. I use it to comb through grasses that don't require being chopped down every year.

I love ornamental grasses and have quite a few of them, probably about twenty different grasses.

I have it in my zone 7 garden...would love some volunteers.  With our weather and my clay soil...a plant has to be borderline invasive to make it!!
