I love all these ideas! and i'm definately getting some more.
Here's a pic i took today... i never knew these flowered.
Can someone please tell me the best time (and where) to cut the stalk off when it's done blooming? (assuming it will bloom
)

Mine really took off this year. But what's with Hens n' Chicks... and the artichoke stalk? I'm not lovin' the stalk. Kinda looks out of place with my low blanket of hens and chicks. I too want to know when/how it can be cut.
