Went canoeing on some nearby lakes and found these...
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

First one is Spadderdock (I'm sure I spelled that wrong..) Second one looks like Bladderwort.  The third is a un-named hardy water lily.

So that spirally submerged plant is Bladderwort then?

I agree with Tammie on all but...

I don't think it's Bladderwort. Bladderwort used to grow all over the place when we lives in NC and does not look like that.
Never have sees that one before.  ---->  8)

If I had to guess I would say those are bloom stalks to some underwater bottom rooted plant like a Sagittaria.

Can spatterdock be planted in a pond like lilies?

If so, I may have to keep my eye out for some.

Missa, Spatterdock can be planted in a pond like water lilies. I have proof. I have one and it bloomed last year. Which floating heart did you have? I might be able to get you some.

I think Joyce was close on the second one but instead of Sagittaria, it's Vallisneria because it looks a lot like the flower stalks for my eel grass.

If you saw that water lily in the wild, then I don't know. N. mexicana grows wild in Florida but it's blooms are yellow.
Happy ponding,

Spatterdock is VERY transplantable but not worth it. As far as I am concerned, it's fugly,
and not worth the overgrown weedy mess it is for those little nubby blooms that don't really open.  ::)

Yep, that's it, I bet it's a Vallisneria.  O0  That used to grow in NC too.

The native white lily that grows everywhere is N. odorata.

I'm not sure, I don't remember.
I just got it last year from Tranquility.
I think it bloomed yellow but not gonna swear to that.
She called it variegated.

Water Snowflake I don't have. The only other Nymphoides that I have besides Yellow Floating Heart is Banana Lily and it isn't multiplying yet.

The one Scott showed gets red on the leaves (that is, if it's the one I sent).  I just can't remember when - full sun or colder temps   But it does get spots of red.  If the flowers look right, I'm sure one of us could spare some.

I love the spatterdock in my pond.  It is growing way earlier in the spring than the waterlilies and I love the way the huge, glossy leaves stand up above the water.  It's one of my favorite plants and we got it free in the wild.

Katfish, that's the same one that you sent. I couldn't remember who sent it to me. :) I never noticed the red spots on mine. I'll check this year to see if they show.

On eBay, I sold it for $5.00 and $6.95 shipping for five plants but you are a member of AP and all I would ask for is the shipping, $6.95, payable by PayPal.
