Can spatterdock be planted in a pond like lilies? If so, I may have to keep my eye out for some.Think I lost my floating heart. :'(
Missa, Spatterdock can be planted in a pond like water lilies. I have proof. I have one and it bloomed last year. Which floating heart did you have? I might be able to get you some.I think Joyce was close on the second one but instead of Sagittaria, it's Vallisneria because it looks a lot like the flower stalks for my eel grass. If you saw that water lily in the wild, then I don't know. N. mexicana grows wild in Florida but it's blooms are yellow.
Missa I think you are thinking about crushed Ice sag. it has a white with yellow center bloom and is above the water line...I think Scott hit it right on-I think the 2nd one is a val. those curly stalks and blooms are right on for a val.Lawanna

The one Scott showed gets red on the leaves (that is, if it's the one I sent). I just can't remember when - full sun or colder temps But it does get spots of red. If the flowers look right, I'm sure one of us could spare some.
On eBay, I sold it for $5.00 and $6.95 shipping for five plants but you are a member of AP and all I would ask for is the shipping, $6.95, payable by PayPal.
