Wow.......you can see for miles and miles.

It's always interesting to see everyone's views from different parts of the country.  I've never been to Texas.  It's pretty hilly and woodsey here in Indiana, but just across the stateline in Illinois it's all flat cropland.

We have yuccas, but a different kind, they will be blooming soon.

Sure don't see anything redneck in those pics.

Karen...Texas is kinda like the blind men describing the elephant...depends on which side/end you're on.  Parts of Texas are hilly and woodsy also.

I didn't see anything redneck in those pics either!   o(:-)  Was that a round bale I saw in the first pic?  Hubby is making hay as I type...round bales everywhere, it smells so good.  Love your 'pots' of flowers!!  They are the best kind.

Sue, I grew up in that other side of Texas.  Tall pine forest, rolling hills, and winding creeks---the piney woods.  Shelby County, the northern most county with the Sabine River for eastern boundary.  I tell people, when you look at a map of Texas the eastern border is straight then gets crooked...that's where I grew up!
