Last night after work I finally had time to putter around the pond and get the new lilies potted up. My BF came out to check on me and says the dog's bleeding
So I come over, covered in mud, and look - expecting a scrape. He had a laceration about 1 inch long down to the muscle. :'( Of course it was an hour after the vet's closing time, so I hustled him off to the emergency vet. He got three staples and is on antibiotics, pain meds and seditives. He sliced his 'knee', so he has to stay doped up to keep from re-opening it. Poor baby. Turns out he had knocked down one of my *new* flower pots and that's what cut him. So far so good - he's taking it pretty well and mostly laying around for me. Problem is, I have lilies to pot and my BF needs to sleep (night shifter). It's killing me to wait
So I guess I'll make use of my time by sharing a few pics with you of the pond.
