Just call me Pig Pen...
« on: May 31, 2010, 01:48:12 PM »
So apparently I went from being called the "little ponder" to "Pig Pen" this season by DH.  He thinks that is funny...I only see visions of Charlie Brown's friend Pig Pen with the cloud of dust that follows him everywhere.   ::)

Anyone else have strange nicknames bestowed upon them by family members due to this hobby?
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

Each spring, I usually spend a day dividing waterlilies and smell terrible when done. DH and kids refer to me as swamp thing!

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.

You can't believe the mess I make of myself when I am working in the pond.  When taking the toilet bowl brush to the algae, I get that stringy, slimmy stuff in my hair, arms and hands and clinging to my shirt.  I shake it hard to loosen it from the bristles and it goes sailing every where and on me.  I'm the "Slime Queen".  I smell like stinking pond water, fingernails are gross and I'm usually wet to the skin.  I have stepped onto the side shelves and kept right on going with a giant splash and the family run out to see me wet and miserable.  I am "Slime Queen" plus Pig Pen and any other gross pond words you can think of.
