A few more. I like the clarity. Not happy with the number of steps it takes to post.

Rascal fits in the trailer --- sideways.  :o
The gate on the trailer is 6 feet wide, so we estimate Rascal's rack at 7 feet - could be bigger. Some day we will have to measure.
This is his seventh year - so theoretically he is now full grown.  o(:-)

What kind of camera did you end up getting? That sunflower is magnificent!! And of course Rascal is so impressive.

Do you use photobucket to post pictures? Whenever I try to upload from my computer, the pictures are too large so on one hand it takes extra steps for Photobucket but on the other hand I have to downsize my pix first to post here. So I don't know what's worse.

Its a Cannon easy shot... 10Mp and 10x zoom.

I'm particularly impressed by the clarity of the details in the sunflower. Some of it was the approaching thunderstorm contrast, but a lot of it is the camera.
The photos are a series of experiments... some on auto focus, some not, some zoom (the tadpoles), some not. I was experimenting.

Rascal, in addition to having a nice rack, is very tall.
I love the way he runs. He runs, not like a cow, but like a deer. Light and on his toes.  @O@
But he only runs when he's mad... so its a relative thing.  lol

I got a little better price at Sam's Club.

I don't know what kind of frog those are. We have Rana Pipiens (leopard frogs), tree frogs (Hyla cineria), several kinds of "chirping frogs" (Eleutherodactylus). But I can't tell the similar sized tadpoles apart.  :-\

I know they aren't bullfrogs, because of the small size. They are smaller than the nail on my pinkie finger.
That photo was taken to test the zoom.

Wow, nice pictures.  Love Rascal, those horns are impressive.  The sunflower for some reason reminds me of a lady looking into the sun with the wind blowing her hair.  :D

Great photos.  Visited my brother a few years ago in Dallas and he took us to a variety of places he thought we would love, and did but I was pretty amazed  and wanted to keep going back to this one gas station in town that had several of the HUGE LOng horns right behind it.  What keeps them from tipping over!

I don't think you can successfully mail frog or toad or any other amphibian eggs, for that matter.  They are so delicate, and they hatch so quickly, you are inviting disaster.

Jerry, I have caught and transported to my pond quite a number of green tree frogs, and loved the sound of their calls - for about two nights.  No matter how many I release here, and how many times I have done it, and how good a home I offer them, they always make their way to some other abode.
