This is
Lysimachia japonica minutissima which is about 1/8 the size of regular Creeping Jenny and
extremely dense. Not a weed will ever penetrate it. I have it as a ground cover under my Villa Taranto Japanese Maple.

A red Iris I got by trade (can't remember who so if it's
YOU please refresh my memory)

These iris are growing in my perennial garden, even though 'some' will insist they are 'only' aquatic. Just proves they've never grown them as perennials in average garden soil.

Amsonia tabernaemontana funky steel colored buds open up to the palest ice blue-white for the next 2 months. Screaming yellow fall foliage.
Acanthus spinosus in bud, bud is 8" by 3" approx. When it finally blooms, stalk can get 8
feet tall. Can you see where it got it's second name from...spinosus?

I'll post a follow up on this plant when it blooms.
And...knock on wood...so far all these plants are deer
resistant. ![Cool 8)](https://www.worldwidewatergardeners.org/forum/Smileys/smilies_smf/cool.gif)
