What's the temp in your area?
« on: June 12, 2010, 01:56:07 PM »
I know my temp thingy at the bottom says something totally different, must be too hot for it and it broke...lol.

Right now its 92 here, feels like 102. Sun, clouds, windy....etc.

Ponds are like patato chips, ya just can't have one.

82, humidity dropped down to 60 just a few hours ago. Bright sunny, blue sky, light breeze. Beautiful day. This morning wasn't so nice, terribly humid.

It's miserable here too Kim.  90 feels like 100 on the local weather station.  Hot and hazy.  It rains every day!
We had a storm go through yesterday that left our yard littered with sticks and limbs.  I go out every now and then and pick up a few and my shirt is wet in no time.  Found my lotus pot laying on it's side under water in the pond.   :'(   It drives me nuts on days like this.  I so want to be outside, can't stand staying in, but can't handle the heat.

It's been cold the past few days around 68* to 70* and overcast.  Great for doing lots of work in the garden though  O0  Got lots done.

Hot and steamy like the tropics, torrential downpour AGAIN after a yard flooded where our two creeks converge....UGH!!  Hubby is cross--it's haymaking weather and he ain't makin' any.....we've probably had 6 inches of rain in the last 3 days.  Before you know it it will be our hot and dry season...oh yeah.

I've been so afraid to damage the soil by digging. We got ONE tomato plant planted this morning before the downpour. Couldn't plant anything for the rest of the day cuz the soil was too wet. Now I'm thinking that the plants have become too rootbound and will stagnate.

It's 62* here. It's either too hot or too humid or too rainy. Shoulda planted in April when it was perfect!

99 here. Not sure what the heat index is today but humidity is such that it's like breathing water. Fifteen minutes at the pond leaves me looking like I just stepped out of the shower....minus the refreshment

It is better today.  Only 88F now with 78% humidity (from my backyard gauge).  It has been rainny, sunny, cloudy, rainny, then sunny now.  Humidy is staying high for the next week but temp is going to fluctuate btw the high 80s to mid 90s.  I really should not complain because at least the twisters are not any where near us.   O0

I don't have any motivation whatsoever to go outside.  Not even the pool.

I know what you mean, our swimming pool feels like bath water. Nothing really refreshing about that, but I still got in. I love my pool.

You could send some heat this way. We are wet and cold here. The weeds and lawn are growing like crazy but we can't get out to do any gardening.
