A walk around my yard this afternoon
« on: June 22, 2010, 06:59:02 PM »
Just some day lily pics and asiatics-- a pic of my knockout roses

And a couple of planters--everything is in full summer bloom!  It's so early for most of this stuff, what will my gardens look like in mid July and August?   ::)

Looking very nice! Everything is very late here this year. The lilies are just starting to bloom at least a month later than normal. We are just now finally getting warmer.

Maryvonne, it's been so hot so early this year--today 90 and the same for tomorrow.  Lots of rain too.  We are running about 3 weeks ahead of schedule:  by my gardening clock and the farming one too!   :)

Nice to see your garden blooming with all kinds of color this time of the year.  Our Spring colors are fading and the summer colors are arriving here.

Very pretty.  I love the knock-out roses.  I have one......and it has fizzled this year.......guess I better buy another.  ;D

I've been lucky with mine--the only thing I have to do is spray it with a systemic insect spray maybe once a month--no aphids or japanese bean beetles.  I don't like spraying anything and I won't spray around my pond at all, but in order to keep the bean beetles from killing this plant, I do it.   :)

Oh, you need to get another one.... ;)

Beautiful flowers!!!

I am in the same predicament and have been saying the same thing - with everything blooming so very early here in my zone 6 as well, I'm afraid there will be nothing left come late July/August!
