Brownie type cake
« on: June 24, 2010, 10:13:52 AM »
Here's a quick frostingless brownie type cake---- Mix one cake mix (chocolate, butterscotch, white, whatever)cake mix, 1 can of pudding, 2 eggs, well. Sprinkle 1/2 bag of chocolate, butterscotch, white chocolate, chips on top with 2 T. sugar. Most of the time I skip the sugar. Bake 35-40 min. 350*.
This is more the texture of cake but doesn't need frosting. Nice for lunches as no frosting to stick to wrapping.

If I ate that I'd probably go into a diabetic coma...  :o I remember making it back in the day, but I mixed the chocolate chips into the batter. Or maybe I wasn't supposed to do that?  :)

I don't think it matters whether you mix them in or not.

I remember making a brownie/cake, and using chocolate powder and butter. Heat in a sauce pan til almost boil. Then pouring that on the cake, then let cool,   Yes, everyone loved it, hubby would ask for it all the time. Now he is a diabetic and no more cake, ho ho's, twinkies, and thos ding dongs!
