Gooseneck Loosestrife from Cathy
« on: June 29, 2010, 08:30:40 AM »
A few years ago I traded Cathy for this plant. The only thing I could grow under this bird feeder was weeds and grass.
Now, I get no weeds or grass and you can see that it has almost entirely engulfed this bed.
Thanks, Cathy!

You can see some weeds to the left of it, but by next year they will be gone.  O0

Karen, that looks very pretty :) I called about 5 gardening places and no one had those for sale :( I have a bird feeder just for the little birds. With something tall like that, the darn barn cats (neighbors) hide under the deck and pounce on the poor little birds :( >:(-

Or perhaps ribbon grass? I did plant some in the shallow part of the pond, looks pretty good too :)
