I use simply Outlook Express. Right click the photo, send to "mail recipient", ask for resize, say Yes and than save the attachments back to the pc.

Thanks for your replies. I used to have something very simple but have not used it in a long time and forgot what and where it is. I tried downloading vso and locked up last eve, today I tried tugo's way and worked but again dumped a pic in yet another spot.
Dern how I hate dial up. For now at least am going to be able to post a pic small enough.
