Oh Boy - Your new pond needing new growth is more lush than my two year old endeavour.
Mikey helped me out - but there is nothing as naked as a new pond.

Pirate Ship?

Cheers,

Mike.

Thanks everyone:

Mike:
Yeah I had thought about remote controlled pirate ship, but my wife but the kabosh on that! The Pickerel will grow quickly as will all the Iris that you can't see since it was cut near the water line.

Ester, hopefully you will remember me...I drift in and out...too much yard work lately has kept me busy.

Jerry, it takes a year or 2, but a 16 x20' pond is nice since it stabilizes so quickly

A few more photos

Very nice!  I think I'll go into Marshall's and look around:  I'm needing a break from all this heat and humidity  :o

I like your photos at night also.  Your pond out front is such a good idea.  Your home is looking beautiful too!   O0

I agree, what a great welcome, and the first picture does look like a lake. Perfect place for the artwork.

Hi Gary,

Your new place is looking great, wonderful setting, lovely new pond and beautiful lilies already! Must be a lot of work keeping two gardens. I can't manage one at the moment.

Hi Karen:

When you are out in the middle of nowhere, visitors are always welcomed.

Maryvonne:

I agree 2 gardens are more than enough for me, fortunately we are in the process of selling our PA place.  Hopefully someone will buy it soon!
I have a feeling your garden still looks wonderful.  Say hi to Peter.

all the best,

Gary

Thanks again.  I agree I like lots of space, but I need to keep it in check.  My gardens here in PA are getting too big for me to keep up!!
