Can't keep up with modern technology.
« on: August 09, 2010, 11:14:19 AM »
OK, I was running the hose in the pond and needed a timer to signal in 15 minutes. Thought about setting timer on new phone. 15 minutes later hear BEEP BEEP BEEP. But am standing in kitchen near (1) stove with potential timer, (2) Microwave with potential timer, (3) radio with clock and potential timer, (4) drier with potential timer, (5) cell phone with potential timer on my belt-----BEEPING continues as I stand there and realize I have set a separate tiny timer and it is UM down my neck in bra as I have no pockets.

You need a string to tie around the timer and hang around your neck.  Digging for something in your bra is kind of  :o :o  I am guilty of having no pockets too

Now there's a thought....  I could give my small digital timer to the Fetching Mrs. Mikey and ask her to hold it in her bra for me to retrieve once it goes off.....  (hang on honey....I know it's in here somewhere....)  Ahhhh, the pleasures of ponding.....   O0

Not yet. LOL.

My old grandma on the farm always wore "house dresses". Most of them didn't have pockets. She always kept her handkerchief tucked down her neck.
