Going to Texas
« on: August 13, 2010, 06:01:20 PM »
We are leaving in the morning to go visit our DD and SIL and, most importantly, our only grandson Silas.  o(:-) He just had his first birthday Thursday and she is having his party Sunday. I am so excited! We haven't seen them since May and let me tell you, it's tough having them so far away.

Northeast Texas, a little town called Jacksonville. They live in the middle of nowhere. We are sitting at the airport waiting for our flight. It's a good thing I like kids, it appears there are several little ones on our flight.

There should be a law------------kids can't settle any farther than a day's drive away.

You must be enjoying your grandson by now!   o(:-)

Have you thought of using applications on your computer where you can do video talk to chat and see family or friends?  I use MSN or Skype and the best part is it is free.  My laptop is older and didn't come with a camera so I bought and attachment, easy to work.

You'll be about 35 - 40 miles from where I live!  Get ready for the heat.  Everyday it's been over 100!

Hope you have a great visit.
