Vickie, it's some kind of a palm tree, I think it's a date plam? We dug several up from a nice lady that were growing below her tree in her front yard, it was 6' tall or so. That was about three years ago, and they were only 1" tall at the time, very small. Think they are growing good considering how small they were at the time and been in pots the whole time.
Esther, thanks, but when I said not done, I mean, look at the back edge, no wood edging. We need to decide if we want to finish the wood edge or maybe build up with some large flat rocks? Also, need to decide on the plants. That's why they are still in pots. Decisions, decisions, plus it's still danged hot out there!
