Hey Tammie,
I agreed with you that I'm a jerk...but not a complete one.<g> I did carefully weigh what both you and LeeAnne had to say about foals and even read a couple books that also mentioned that what I was considering might be a recipe for disaster, but I decided to pull a "Bush" and do what the hell I wanted to anyway against all rational advise.<g>
Seriously, I did consider your advise and then spent the better part of the day visiting One Trick and her family...and by that I mean her equine family....mama and a number of siblings were there and what can I say, they were just nice, mellow horses. So I figure I have the time to spend with her, as long as she doesn't piss me off I have the patience to work with her<g> and when things blow up in my face I have you to run to begging for advice and promising to listen this time.
She is just such a sweet animal, I honestly believe I can learn her to be a good horse. Her one trick was suppose to be 'sit', but she still hasn't gotten the hang of it yet, which is stange as it only took my dog like ten minutes.<g> Tim is right, it is an oblique reference to the 1980 Paul Simon movie that had nothing to do with horses...or tricks for that matter.<g>
