My Mom's is "Oh Holy Night". She is battling Alzheimer's right now and I just feel like I should post that for her. She has always loved that song. Doesn't matter who sings it as long as they sing it well.

I agree Oceanbum--it's probably my favorite as well, and not many can do it justice:  it's a hard song to sing.  But I LOVE Josh Grobin's version--gives me goose bumps!

I don't think I've heard it. John Berry does a nice version of it. He was just here doing his annual Christmas concert. I tell myself every year I will go and every year I don't for some reason or another!

I have a new favorite version of "Oh Holy Night" - I heard Carrie Underwood yesterday and it brought me to tears. It is absolutely amazing!! The DJ said when God sent Carrie to this earth He said I will send you to earth for the sole purpose of recording this song!!! It's THAT good!!!!!

Thanks for posting the link, Karen! O0 Isn't it amazing?! She has one of the most beautiful voices to come along in recent years. And to think we have American Idol to thank for that amazing talent!!! I have a feeling she would have eventually made it big with or without Idol.

Well I can tell you which one I ABSOLUTELY can't listen to..... It's that one about the dying Mother and the boy goes and buys her new shoes. It just RUINS an entire evening for me. (What a sap I am!) My kids crack up every time it comes on, but they will run over and shut it off and just say "shoes, Mom".
