Please say a prayer for Esther and her Dad

 :'(  Sad news, Esther's Dad passed away this week. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Esther, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. You are in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your Father.  Know I am thinking of you and praying for your heart to be at peace.  Please think back to all the years of joy this man has brought into his daughter's life and you will surely know that you were lucky to get one of the best there could be.  I know I did too.

Thanks Jax. Yes, I'm comfortable with his passing. I slept in the living room on the couch while he was in the hospital bed and nursed him for a week 24/7. Saw him go from walking with the walker on Sunday to not being able to get up and stand by himself on Wednesday. Then to the hospital bed and not even speaking by the next Sunday. He passed early Tuesday morning. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

He was concious and at least responding a tiny bit with nods right up to the last day.

Life can certainly break your heart at times, as you well know Esther, but the joy we get inbetween the pages of our book of life is sure worth it.
