Help me pick a compatible pump and filter, please!
« on: March 25, 2011, 10:30:12 AM »
I'm now trying to figure which pump and filter to get. I found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290449242122&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_3895wt_989 filter, (my pond is roughly 2500 gallons). It seems to be a good price. What pump would work with it? Do you guys have any suggestions for a better brand/filter? Help please! See what happens to me when I never plan anything out? This is what I get, lol. Thanks, guys~

ETA: I hope this is in the right forum.

I'd agree with you,
But then we'd both be wrong....

Lisa, you can over do it with an UV filter if you plan to have plants. If you are going the water garden with goldfish route, you might be able to do without the UV filter. You may get green water for a short period in Spring but it will clear once the plants are going.
Happy ponding,

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.

Once I built the Skippy I dumped the UV  No need at all.
My pump."Sequence" has been running for 6 years.  My laguna ran for 10 minutes!  yes an exaggeration, but not much.
Our advertisers will treat you well, ask for prices!
