a cycling pond is not a death setenence...just feed sparingly(I'd cut feeding in half and only feed every other day)-check water quality and do water changes often...is there anyway you can take some of the old filter material and put it in the new filter? that would help a great deal....remember green water doesn't mean unhealthy water the same way clear water doesn't always mean the pond water is healthy....
