Has anybody read this book?  What do you think about it?  Interesting perspective about the Net Generation.

The discouraging thing is the net devaluation of technology and while these "collaborations" move things forward no one financially benefits.  I've worked with Innocentive and the awards are small while the companies get a lot of ideas.  ZOn the converse side it is difficult to evaluate the ideas with a biased mindset.  I will be curious how this plays out over the next few years, but I'm afraid this will lead to a lot of mediocrity as opposed to excellence.
