Finally our first bloom of the season!
« on: June 05, 2011, 04:06:27 PM »
This is the worst spring as long as we have had this pond. Normally the lilies are blooming like crazy by now but this Gonnerre is the first to bloom this year. Only a couple buds at the surface!

Stunning!

Gonnere is typically an early bloomer here, but I haven't seen it yet. I think I shocked everything when repotting this spring.

Maryvonne, that photo is gorgeous.

I've still got nothing.....horrid weather this year, just horrid.

Mayvonne:

Beautiful bloom and photo.

Unfortunately my SLR got knocked into the Cheaspeake a couple of weeks ago with all of my lens, ouch.  Body and 2 lens shot I will miss my Tameron 15-85!  I just ordered replacements and can't wait to take pics.  I had a lot blooming this weekend white Odorata, hermine, Chubby, Wow, Crimison Red, Georgia Peach, Layderkeri Lilaca, MU, Perry's Orange Sunset, Little Sue, and Red Spider.  It's prime time in VA!
