They have a nice selection of Plants, wondering if they're part of truly named or who the grower/owner is.

The International Watergarden Collection in San Angelo posts videos thru the Pondmegastore and Utube websites. I know nothing about the plants they sell. I only check them out to learn about lilies.

No idea about this one, but usually when a seller is part of the "Truely Named" group, it becomes a part of their advertising. (As it should.)

I did business a few years back with them. And I WAS NOT PLEASED. They sent me a subistute lily that I called them twice and said do not send me that lily I have 9 of them and do not want another one. Well they sent it anyway even though I had called and said I don't want that lily.

Hi Jessica,

Name is Zac, the owner of Pond Megastore. We get all out lilies from Florida Aquatic Nurseries, all are true to name though we have not registered with Kit Knotts truly named program on WGI. In out checkout we now have a request box and a mandatory substitution request so that if something is out of stock you can avoid anything being substituted. The website is currently very up to date and most everything you see should be available now. The remaining lotus will be coming down this week but most of the lilies will be available until the end of summer. We have a couple lilies in production from Ken Landon special that will not be available anywhere else for another year or two. Larissa Racine and Mel Bell right now.

You can see out updates and photos many times per week on our facebook page. We will have Wanvisa for sale shortly for less than half the price of the IWGS sales.

My order was placed over the phone not online no box checked because I called in the order. I called 2 times when I found out you were shipping the lily I had nine of and did not want number 10. So I repeat I was not happy. Even if I am mistaken and ordered online I called twice and said I do not want Miami Rose I have nine of them. You could have refunded my money or sent me something I did not have nine of already. So I still am not happy with the results of my order.

Zac it was yrs ago I did not keep paper work and I wanted Queen of Siam. I think I used a credit card. I can PM you my name and address as for credit card I have no idea which one. Yes I will be happy if it is taken care of. I am not one that complains about plants I buy. Most people who sell plants they are nice plants when you get them. And Miami Rose he sent was a nice plant. But the commucations was the problem. I have no proof unless he can somehow go back and find my name and address This was maybe 5 or 6 years ago. I just do not remember. I might have even bought it under my husbands name, but it is the same address. But I told my friends about it when it happened.

Jessica,

Zac is a good friend and has been for several years.
I know that his lilies come from F.A.N. and they are as trustworthy as it gets and they do so without having to align themselves with WGI.
I have talked to several other big growers who do not say they are Truly Named because they don't jeopardize their integrity for a quick sale.
They know their money is in repeat business especially for those up north who have to treat waterlilies as an annual.

As to the videos, well we both work together on them. Most of them I have filmed and done the spoken portion of as well.
Most are done at the IWC. In fact we did about 20 videos in the last 3 days out there and they will be online soon.
We are partners in the video portion but Pond Mega is all Zac.

Timgod , are you aware the photo of 'Bagdad' that Pondmegastore is displaying for 'Bagdad' does not match Perry Slocums description for 'Bagdad'. Mr Slocum describes 'Bagdad' as having 30-32 petals. Petals held high above the water and a medium to large spread. Apparently F.A.N has been selling a lily for 'Bagdad' that has about 25 petal, petals close to the water for a dayblooming tropical and a compact spread. I bought the lily I have from a online retailer about 10 years ago that used F.A.N to grow and ship lilies for them. If the photo Pondmegastore uses for 'Bagdad' is true to the lily, it is not the 'Bagdad' Mr. Slocum described. This lily an exceptional water lily worth it's own name but I do not believe that it is 'Bagdad'.

Thank you Magoo, I am in FL right now, just visited the growing facilities at FAN, I have video of most of the lilies growing so perhaps that will get a better look into the plant. They probably have a google alert set on their name. I have one on my own name and my company name - if anyone posts anything on the internet about either Google finds it and sends me an email.
