This is an early Spring picture from several years ago of the stream that feeds under the bridge.

These are early Spring pictures several years old of the two pools beside the deck of the house that total about 1500 gallons.

This picture is part of the channel that surrounds the island at the side of the mud pond.

This was my first attempt at posting pictures here.  I am very slow at it and that is made worse by the fact that I have dial up for a modem.  Hopefully now that I have succeded there will be pics that are more up to date and have more of the flowers and fish.  I have several Pam.  There is the double pond at the deck (1500 gal),  the bridge pond (4500 gal), the large earth bottom pond (about 90' x 70' plus the channel around the island), an 8' square pond (2000 gal), a 4' x 15' pond in the greenhouse, and 3 small earth bottom ponds (from 10' to 20'+ in diameter).  Lately I have been reducing the koi herd and getting ready to get back to raising more plants.  I also have plans for rebuilding a pond and removing one.

Gorgeous!  Like walking in the woods and stumbling upon a natural pond.

lol!  The bridge was built almost 15 years ago by bending long 2" x 4"s and screwing them together while bent. after 4 or 5 are built up it stays bent.  Arched beams can be made to easily raise 2' in the center of a 9' foot beam and even higher with longer spans or by using plywood on the back to lock the boards in the arched shape.  The bridge was orriginally used on a smaller pond and the stream dropped a lot farther to the older ponds lower level.
