Not so 'Bagdad'
« on: July 10, 2011, 07:08:59 AM »
My not so 'Bagdad'.

I like my not so 'Bagdad'.
Even though I paid for a 'Bagdad'  my not so 'Bagdad' is still a very nice lily.
It stays small, nice and compact.
 It has pretty blue flowers.
 It even has a 'horn'.
It has come back for 10 years now.
Alas, my not so 'Bagdad' is still not 'Bagdad'.

I wonder who also has the same not so 'Bagdad' and thinks it is 'Bagdad'.

Is there a function for the "horn"?
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

Bagdad is a vivip and has 30 petals. Not so Bagdad has 24 petals and a horn.  It develops the horn on good years not every year. If some one knows what the horn is for, please speak up cause I have no idea.
