Thanks for that Mikey!  I have made those wands many years ago and I had forgotten about it.  They are not hard and fun to do and the smell... o(:-) 

I have an easy enough time growing lavendar--the problem here is getting it to come back each year and thrive.  According to her, it doesn't like humidity.  That would then explain it!  There may be some cultivar out there now that could take the intense humidity of a Midwestern summer.   :)

I don't normall spend time in this section of the Forums, but when I saw the title of the post, I just had to look. I thought you had gone completely "Harry Potter" in here!

 Thanks Mikey!  That's something I've wanted to do.  Did you see what she does with Lambs Ear ? ... I'm going to have to plant some again and try it.
