An audition tomorrow with a woman I blasted! It is done.

So have many on an Actors site I use.
She had the first class I audited,  Only 8 people there tops.  She sat me far in the back.
I could not hear, at the break she asked how I liked it.  I told her I was too far away to hear.
yes I do have a hearing problem.  She then ushered me to the door and said "It will be like that wherever you go!"
I was upset, but cooled off in 20 minutes. I was determined to prove her wrong!
I went on to 3 different classes in 4 years, did fine in all.  Sure I miss a word here and there, but My seat is good.  I did well with all.  I am in a Saturday class now.  Everyone tolerated my problem just fine.  At worst got a few laughs over my mistakes.

The woman in question did say, "You are likeable!"  Not any more LOL !
it is a big bucks audition.  I was sent by my agent.  I will be there and hope I only look vaguely familiar to her.

Per Elaine Jerry, your seat is better than good.  I once overheard her telling some ladies that you've got the best butt she has ever seen.......

She may not remember me anyway. It's been 4 years.  Maybe I will just seem familiar?  That can be good.
I really castigated her, but so did a few dozen others.

I had the audition this afternoon. There were no lines, but she engaged me as well as the others (separately) in a chat about the best care for you, your parents etc. medical plans etc. I spoke on Assisted care because I have had a little experience visiting relatives in those facilities.

She asked "what is the most ideal situation you would like for yourself in say 30 years from now?"
I said ideal? .... "A yacht in the South of France with a crew of Nurses!"
No laugh!
She did not seem to recognize me. Now to...Fergetaboutit!

4:00 pm on Friday,getaway day was not the most ideal time for an audition , so I dragged my Wife along and went to a rib joint in Venice. Very good too. Drove home when traffic lessened.

Yes it was. gee whiz Mike you really do know everything!
The meat was super.  The Corn Bread ok.  I may be used to Mixes.
Our Mempis style pork ribs was wonderful.  it was smoked for 16 hours!

We were asked how things were maybe 7 times by different employees!  They do care.
