Well, Andrew Davis is at it again...

First he causes a problem with one of our new members, now he is sending email to our membership to try and drive you away.

This is a copy of the email he is sending to our fine membership.

I have warned him in an email with the following text...

As for emailing our membership at AmericanPonders.com with your harassment, should I find any more instances past today’s date of October 15, 2011, you will be reported to the appropriate authorities. Email harassment is a crime and punishable by law.

Should any American Ponders member feel harassed by this individual, please contact me directly by PM or email so I may forward to the appropriate authorities as I have already warned said individual.

He sure knows some nasty words.

MEMBERS: Do know that there were folks here driven to tears over some nasty posts and personal attacks. We endured it in the beginning and pleaded for respectful behavoir.
It got to the point where we decided its them or us. So the bans were instituted.

it was not fun to do by any means. Do understand if we had not, there would be no forum.

Yes, Jerry and Sean, it was the right decision! Being one of the members who was 'put down' by this jerk way back when, I find it more funny than anything else that he's actually trying to get his own forum started. Geesh...he was the instigator of many of the problems that his email is talking about. How long do you suppose it will be before he starts ridiculing the members on that forum? That is IF anyone actually joins that forum. No one from this forum will be joining, I will bet on that!!
Just another opportunity to thank you 2 guys (Jerry and Sean) for moderating this forum so well and making it what it is!!!

What is it about some people that feel driven to be mean and cause upheaval? It sounds like he lurks and prowls around waiting for the opportunity. Creep. I am so glad that my email is hidden. Well, at least I think it's hidden, guess I'd better check.

Thank you Sean and Jerry for not putting up with these kinds of people. I am sorry though that you are even having to deal with this person again. Such added stress should not be necessary. Thank you again for giving us a peaceful place to share our ponding experiences with each other.

I do not know anything about what happened in the past on this board, but do know how much I enjoy coming here. I have not gotten any Email like indicated above. Having been visiting here for a while I have met only the best of people on this board and feel that if it were not for the work of some here it would not be such a nice place to come. A big Thank You to those that are protecting this board.

I didn't receive the message that you quoted from but I did have another email that was sent to my peronal email on Saturday that was in response to the thread I posted. This is unbelievable to me that someone would have this much time on his hands to stalk a site where he was banned. I come here to share my pond photos and to seek advice and do not wish to receive these unwarranted emails! I found it hilarious that he said 'I rarely show interest in american ponders...' well that seems quite contrary since I've been a member for a week and have been subject to this ridiculousness!

Newpondgal: We are so sorry this has happened to you. I am sure we have a member or two who may be friends with this guy, but surely they see his behavoir is unethical at best.
For what it's worth this has never happened before. Yes. steps are being taken.

Since I don't really know the history I can see who has caused problems in the past just from the emails I've received and certainly do not think it is the mods here! I can see why this person was banned.

I didn't get the email. Andrew seems to run in phases where he does stuff like this. I have not been on the forums much in the last few months but I know he was being pretty ornery on KP earlier this year. I've heard some things in the past as to the reasons behind his behavior but who knows.

Hi folks,

I have corresponded with a moderator of the other forum that was mentioned in the email from Andrew and we are working together to inform each other of the instances that lead to this issue. I have edited the email I posted as a gesture in peace so as to not single out said forum. I would like to clarify to our membership that Andrew is not the new owner and that we have agreed to share information about the issues at hand between our two forums.

I will reiterate, should any American Ponders member receive harassing emails from Mr. Davis, we will advocate on your behalf to the appropriate authorities as email harassment is a criminal offense and punishable by law.

Again thank you for moderating this forum. While I have not posted as much as in the past, I do stop in occassionaly and still think its a great forum! Both of you deserve the credit along with the solid contributions from the current memebership. It's disappointing that someone has so much time to cause this much comotion and cannot let go of the past.

Anyway, hopefully everyone, including Andy, will move on.

He was at it again fairly recently on Garden Web too.

He has way too much time on his hands.

He was blasting me on Garden Web saying I was one of the corrupt moderators here and that I was also a dishonest seller of waterlilies who ripped people off with misnamed monsters that would choke out their ponds.

As many of you know, I am not one of the mods here, Sean and Jerry certainly aren't corrupt and I don't sell waterlilies and never have.......

LOL. Well he has access to my email but fortunately he didn't see fit to send me any obsenities. :'( Probably doesn't feel I'm worth it. LOL I may choose to not use obsenities personally but be assured I can hold my own with truth and straight forward talk to get my point across when I feel it is necessary. And when pushed into the corner, I do not hesitate to give my opinion. There is one here who was on the receiving end of one of them. I've been a member back now about 9-10 years of this one and the forums preceding this and only once have I done that.

It sounds like most every one has other sightings of this person on the internet and his similar behavior so noone is fooled by him.

Actually, I think he did send me an email a couple of years ago, inviting me to another forum. I just figured if they had his wisdom, there was nothing I could contribute there.
