Nasty . . .
« on: January 16, 2007, 11:54:59 AM »
Yesterday afternoon, we were all on the beach in the sunshine with temps in the very high 70's . . . . might have even made it to 80 degrees.

Today I'm home and it's gray and dreary and hasn't gotten above 45 degrees.  I'm freezing my butt off!

I'm sorry, I just get a kick out of all the warm region people who are freezing their butts off in 42 degree weather. lol lol
It never got over 17 degrees here today. Has been well below zero at night. I hate it, its just too cold. I would be thrilled with 42 degrees! ;D ;D

Today was the first morning without a shhet of ice covering my pond. Four mornings in a row I had to go stand there, shiver, and look with disbelief at ice.

We are starting to get back to normal now, so hopefully this system is on it's last legs.
I see the California citrus crop was all but wiped out, but my lemon tree made it, so, if anybody gets really desperate . . . .

Cheers,

Mike

Yep, we're sposta get hit with freezing rain, sleet and ice tonight.  It doesn't feel cold enough out there yet, so maybe there's still hope for me . . . . . prolly not tho, the weather man is usually only wrong about sunshine and nice weather.

Joyce if you really want samoas, I mailed cookies to Tammie last year . . . .
