Most disturbing movie scene
« on: May 12, 2012, 09:45:21 PM »
I think this is one of the most disturbing movie scenes (non-horror movies):

"The Abyss" (1999) when Lindsey has to drown on purpose in the minisub.

Gets to me every time I see it.

I guess I can't really comment on how disturbing that scene is.  I've seen the movie several times, but always close my eyes (or leave the room) during that.  :(  I have dreamed that I was drowning, so I don't need to watch that stuff.
