It took a few days to figure out the new coding with this forum but I was able to install the American Ponders Chat room and the Arcade again.
Both are working well if anyone is interested in using them.

I have had an issue with logging into the Chat room, the background does not show up even though I have heard the entrance tune. If that happens to you, just close the window and log in again. I need to tweak the settings but will require user feedback.

Please let me know if anyone experiences issues with either the Chat room or the Arcade.

I logged into the chat room a bit ago and Sean came in also.  He says he is still working on a few things, but it seems to be working as it always did.  Of course, I had to start pressing buttons and messed 'mine' up. 


Hopefully some others will try the chat feature out again in the future.

Mr 2vettes, chat room is typed.  It hasn't been used much since last September when we lost Scott (pondman).

Up on the top, next to the Home button is the chat button.  The old format would show a number of people that were in the chat room.  I don't think this new one does.

You are correct Sue, this forum menu does not show the people in chat or the flashing icon like the last. I am working on code to integrate this feature again. The problem is the people who created the forum software have changed the way the coding works so I am learning PHP scripting all over again.
There is an indicator of who is in chat if you look at Users Online near the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the arcade - one of my favorites.   

Many of the games do not register a score after you are done playing, though.

Try again, I went into arcade settings and found that there was a setting to log scores. I am not 100% sure this will solve that issue but you can try.

I just tried three games that I know don't save scores from before you changed the setting - they still don't record the scores.  Oh well . . .
