Jelly Legs
« on: February 07, 2007, 10:24:59 AM »
Went out this morning and walked my 5 1/2 miles . . . for the first time in many, many months.  I have a serious case of jelly legs now . . . . can hardly stand.

Gonna do it again tomorrow.   (8:-)

That's a healthy distance!  What kind of a pace do you think you walk?  I need to start walking again......

On a five mile walk, I average about 15 to 20 minutes a mile.  On shorter walks, it's always 15 minutes a mile.

My walking partner and I were up to 5 miles a day 5 days a week before I quit.

Didn't get to walk today, but did manage to get my poor sick car fixed.  It didn't cost $400 afterall, so I was thrilled!  The bill was only $88.  I can live with that!!!  Silly car has 99,888 miles on it . . . not sure I wanna keep putting $400 in it here and $500 in it there . . . .

I know exactly how you feel!! I went horse riding with my friend for 3 hours and it's been a while since I did the horseback thing. I just about fell over when I got off!!

Friend and I had tears rolling down our faces... :D

Gonna do it again though! And soon.
